Overview

Kids? We recommend twin for children less than 10 and twin/full for older kids or teens.

Two people? Choose a queen or king, the other sizes will be too small.

Couch blanket? Our twin blanket is the size of a standard throw blanket, but you could go up to full/queen if you want more room to cuddle.

Why are weighted blankets smaller than my bed? Unlike regular blankets, weighted blankets are designed not to drape over the sides of your bed. If weighted blankets did drape, they would apply significantly more pressure and feel uncomfortable.

What about weight? The pressure that Nuzzie applies to your body is a function of both weight and size. We've chosen the weights of our blankets such that each size applies approximately the same, ideal pressure. We chose this pressure based on several rounds of testing with beta users and kickstarter backers—ultimately we chose a level that 91% of testers indicated was heavy enough that they felt therapeutic benefits, yet not so heavy as to feel uncomfortable.

Basically, this was a long winded way of saying: just choose based on size and disregard the weight.

I have an 9 yo son who has always had trouble falling asleep. We’ve tried meditation, melatonin, etc but nothing seemed to work well. He would always seem to wake up in the mornings without feeling rested. I had a weighted blanked for myself and it was great for my nighttime anxiety &amp; insomnia so I decided to pick this up for my son. It’s worked fantastically. Not only has he slept better since using it but it also comforts him &amp; helps calm him when he has some flare ups with his behavioral issues. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone.

Very pleased

This blanket has changed my life. I can&#x27;t believe how much better I sleep. I was really concerned that it would be hot (Texas summers are brutal), but the wide knit allows for air flow while the weight gives a calming pressure. It&#x27;s perfection. We got a king sized and it looks beautiful on our bed as well. I appreciate that it isn&#x27;t made with beads like Bearaby. Plus it shipped pretty fast considering pandemic delays. The only bad thing is my cat doesn&#x27;t like it, so we have to pull the covers back on the side of the bed so he has a spot. Such a diva.

You&#x27;ll never sleep better than this...

I wanted to wait until I&#x27;d used this for a while before I reviewed. I&#x27;ve now been using this for a month and a half and the quality has not changed since I started using it. Since purchasing my first blanket, I&#x27;ve bought a second one because I loved it so much.

When I was considering purchasing, I was wary about how few reviews there were, so that&#x27;s why I wanted to write this as a random customer and give more details. I&#x27;ve struggled with insomnia for most of my life and all of a sudden, I&#x27;m excited to go to bed. These blankets are a big investment, but if you have needs similar to mine, they are completely worth it. 

I&#x27;d been on the hunt for years (literally) for a &quot;cooling weighted blanket&quot; (which is a total oxymoron). I sleep hot, but also wanted the weighted feeling. I looked on Reddit for recommendations and saw this one, with very few comments or reviews, and decided to splurge because the concept sounded smart (more breathing room via wide knit = cooler than solid weighted blankets). It&#x27;s a big splurge so I was really worried, but once it arrived I was SO happy with my purchase.

I have a Cali-King bed, but my partner and I use different blankets, so I measured approx. half of the mattress and bought the Twin size. When the blanket arrives, it&#x27;s in a very compact/heavy box and vacuum sealed. (Be careful about opening it with a knife.) It takes a little while to air out and expand—maybe an hour. It didn&#x27;t have any weird smells, which was great. The texture of the blanket is very soft, similar to Modal in my opinion, but also a very large knit, so you can easily stick your fingers/toes through it. The first night sleeping with it, I was worried that I&#x27;d be poking a bunch of holes in it and stretching it out like crazy, but it shrinks back to its original shape very quickly, and even after a month and a half of use, it looks/functions exactly the same as when it arrived. I also love that it is easy to grab and readjust half-asleep in the middle of the night, because weighted blankets can slip off and it&#x27;s much easier to adjust than a heavy duvet cover.

After using the Twin-sized blanket for a couple weeks, I couldn&#x27;t stop thinking about getting a larger one because it was SO comfortable and completely changed my sleep. I bought the Full/Double size and it fits a lot better for a 1/2 Cali-King, so keep that in mind if you&#x27;re trying to measure what works for your bed. I sleep with both of them on top of each other and it&#x27;s still much cooler than my previous blankets because of the wide knit. If you have a fan on, you can still feel the cool air through the blanket. (You can also put a sheet underneath or a blanket on top to prevent the air flow, but I personally like the breeze.)

The only thing I haven&#x27;t tried yet is washing them, and I&#x27;m nervous about that, but supposedly you can wash them as normal, as long as your machine is big enough. If I can, I&#x27;ll update the review once I try washing them.

LOVE these blankets!

I love this blanket so much it’s ridiculous. I take it with me when I travel, I look forward to coming home to my couch because of her. Dog fur doesn’t cling to it like it usually does other blankets. I have yet to wash it, so can’t comment on that. But it’s great and you should go for it. I got the kids size and sometimes think the full would’ve been a better call, but it’s easy to travel with as is. My next purchase will be a king sized for the bed.

Really happy with this purchase. Quality of the blanket is fantastic, the knitted fabric and construction are worth the price. No beads to deal with, so the blanket distributes the weight well. The company is carbon neutral and use 100% recycled fabric according to their website which is part of the reason I went with this one. The only thing to note is that the white color has a slight greenish tint to it, but I emailed the company and they said they’re changing the fabric soon to be more pure white. Responsive customer care. All in all, 5 stars and would recommend

Quality is worth the price

I’ve wanted a weighted blanket for so long but even with a super light comforter I would wake up in the middle of the night sweating. As soon as I found this blanket I bought it, and I haven’t woken up in the middle of the night once since I started using it! It really is the best of both worlds for me: better temperature regulation than a regular blanket, and comforting anxiety reducing heaviness. It’s safe to say I’m in love with this purchase!

Perfect for hot sleepers!

Best weighted blankets out there! I bought a king size for the bedroom, it is just perfect for a wonderful night sleep, the weight is completely even everywhere (just make sure the blanket doesn’t fall off the bed or it will become or feel «heavier ») . So amazing in fact, and stylish, I bought a second one for the couch!!
